What You Need

  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Socket set (typically 8mm and 10mm)
  • Drain pan

  • Distilled or de-ionized water (if flushing system)
  • Protective gloves and eyewear

Preparation

  • Make sure the engine is completely cool before starting. Hot coolant can cause burns.

Drain the Old Coolant
