AC-10 off road adn dual sport

I have tried all kinds of brands and model tires and have always gone back to Michelins. I tried these tires instead of my standard S-12's. Rear was big heavy and was not a good all around tire. the front was smaller than equivalent size tires in the S-12 or other brands. Not enough sidewall for off road. caused my first bent rim.in years of riding. Much better options out there...Don't buy them.

Ac-10

It's pretty much a off road tire that is dot approved. I put them on my 17 wr250r and love them yes theyes wear quick but when you go off road it is worth it. On the freeway it's a little twitchy but the contact patch of the front is like a half inch

Don't buy for a dual sport

It may be a dot approved my tire, but that's all it is. If you want to ride down the road from the track it's good for that, but as for daily use get a 70/30 enduro tire instead of this 10/90(I.E street/Dirt).

Good Bang for Buck

Needed fresh tires on a CRF450X. Havent officially used these on a good ride to test them in different conditions. Tread pattern is what sold me though based on other tires I've had in the past. Installation was tough but I'm a rookie and have only changed 4 moto tires in my life. They say All Conditions so lets see how these hold up.

Great DOT tire

These tires by far are the best priced for DOT and agressive enough to get the job done. I run these on 250cc to 500cc bikes and they last long and work great.
You need DOT to be insurance and LEO compliant? These are them.

SOFT Dirtbike Tire

I purchased these for my klx450r, just installed them and took a quick ride to get ice cream with my girlfriend, returned home to find the knobs already chunking and rounding off pretty bad for a 2 mile ride!!! Yeah they are DOT approved, but if you think you are going to ride with these on the street on a regular basis think again. wish i just bought motocross tires. Offroad performance is average.....they are soft knobbies.
buy a real dualsport tire if you plan on riding on the street at all.

Racing with these next weekend. will post another review after that....

Excellent tire

With stands the abuse of off road and track while still last well for on- road use. Handles very good in mud, sand, hard pack, on dirt and rocks and gravel. Great all around tire.

A: Although these AC10 tires excel in a variety of applications they are a DOT-approved for street use, with a hard compound. They would not be the best choice for most motocross tracks.

A: You should have a 110/90-19 on your bike, the 1997 KX250 came stock with a 19" wheel. Double check your rim size, you should have no problem running this 110/90-19 on your KX250.

I plan on using this a little bit on the road. nothing fast but just a little ways down the road to a job. only using on a back road that is paved

A: This tire is meant to be used more on dirt than pavement. It likely will suit your needs but it will not last as long being used on pavement as it would on dirt.

A: On the asphalt, I wouldn't plan on getting more than 1200 miles out of this tire. Even less if you plan on getting in the dirt.

A: It should hold up well under those conditions, plus it will give you great off road performance if you do any riding in the dirt.
