Good tire for little bikes

Dunlop doesn’t make the AT 81 in small sizes (100/90-16) so this is our go to tire for woods racing on little bikes

These tires provide very good traction what I like best is they still grip good when the edges are not sharp any more.

Nice tire

I put these tires on my sons crf125f for trail riding. He really likes them. They have much better traction over the stock tire. I wanted to put Geomax 81’s on it, but motosport does not have the size we needed or Dunlop does not make them. We ride all types of terrain and they are holding up pretty good. I will be buying again.

Good tire

Great for tacky ground or if it's wet but when it get really dry and hard packed it can be a little slick. That should be obvious since it's not super gummie. Lifespan seems good, I'm going to try Michelin next time for front and back because I'm curious. I'll give it a 5 for performance since it turned out exactly as I expected for a medium tire.

Great tire once you get it on.extremely difficult gstrong it on. Been running it in the woods and it seems to be holding up well. Might not purchase again just cause of difficulty of installation

Awesome grip

My son Isaac asked me to write a review on tire. He buys a new tire every 2 or 3 months and he is very impressed with this one! He hadn’t been getting the same one several times but chose this tire for the first time. He says the grip is amazing and he recommends it! Can’t really rate the durability since he just got it last week.

A: The MX-52 Rear tire was primarly designed for Hard-pack and whoops. That being said, it will not provide the best performance in the soft sand. The Dunlop MX12 would be a much better Sand tire from Dunlop.

A: No. The MX52 tire is a hard terrain tire. For soft terrain, mud or sand, Dunlop’s MX11 is the tire of choice.

A: The mx11 is best for extreme mud, but the mx52 is the most versatile for all conditions, because it's not always extremely muddy.

A: I run this tire through hard pack every ride, it's a strong tire and I've been really surprised when I end up home and I don't have chucks of tire missing, just becuase almost all my old tires would have a noticeable about of wear on them. This tire is pretty impressive

A: I recently rode for 6 hrs on a new one of these. The track was a field of grass that was only mowed to let you know where to ride. It was mostly dry hard dirt by the middle of the day and these tires performed very well and showed almost no signs of wear.

A: THIS IS NOT A GOOD SOFT SAND TIRE UNLESS IT IS DEFLATED TO 4 PSI AND THERE IS SOME HARD PACK UNDER THE SAND. WHEN THIS IS DONE IT'S LIKE A LESS STIFF MX51. IT IS HOWEVER A GOOD ALL AROUND TIRE FOR ME AND I LIKE IT FOR WOODS RIDING. IN SEMI SOFT SAND I KEEP THE REAR AT 8 PSI AND THE FRONT AT 7 PSI AND THE TIRES SEEM TO DO WELL WITH TIGHT WOODS GNCC TYPE STUFF SO LONG AS YOUR NOT RIDING IN 50/50 ROOTS AND SAND ROCKS.

A: The Dunlop Geomax MX52 Rear Tire is more of an Intermediate to Hard terrain tire. If the ground has a cushion to it, rutted with soft berms, you probably need a soft terrain tire that will penetrate through the loose soil. Dunlop’s MX31 is an excellent choice.
If the conditions are strictly soft deep sand or mud, you might consider a specialty tire like the New MX11.

A: It's pretty good all around but the mx11 is best in sand, but the road to the sand is best for the mx52

A: You could install a 110 90 19 would work fine. 120 might pull to much power from the 250.

A: It should as long as you have at leas a inch between tire and swing arm

A: You can run the 450 sized tire, but it is a taller and wider tire. You may have issues with clearance, handling and may need to regear the bike. The OEM size is always recommended.
