I finally got this installed on my 2016 CRF250X a couple rides back along with a JD Jetting Kit (and opened up the top of the airbox). It was annoying that it doesn't come with a new engine to exhaust gasket, but suggests to install a new gasket. Other than that it is exactly what I hoped. The exhaust note is much deeper, not obnoxiously loud, but sounds way better than stock. And I love the power! Feels like I can roll on the throttle over any little bump and raise the front end. I'm not sure I'd say it feels like a completely different bike, but I did think," maybe this is why some people like 450's":-) My bike finally warms up in a reasonable time and idles great (I'll put this in the jetting kit review) where as the stock jetting took forever to warm up and was much more likely to stumble from low rpm's. I love it and would highly recommend but be sure to do the jetting too.
I've had the exhaust for a month now and really like it. Great sound and looks awesome. Installed on a 2018 yfz450r. Had to shorten the lower radiator hose as there was contact between the header pipe and hose once warmed up. Not too loud yet loud enough. I have the spark arrestor removed (had to remove for dyno tune). With fuel custom air intake w/out box, commander v and yoshi exhaust it made 47.4 hp.
Bought this about a month ago and I was worried I wouldn’t like it... it shipped quick and I love it! It sounds so good and added a little power to my z400!
fits my 2006 CRF450R like a glove. Cheapest full pipe out there without sacrificing power. Plus it looks sharp.
The sound is great, finish is great, price is great, but install was a bit annoying. This does not come with a new clamp for it's own mid section connection! Must reuse factory clamp. Also does not come with new gasket for the head, buy one of those too. Other than that it's as advertised and works good.
