What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"I mounted the SkyBox NX 18 before a long road trip, and it made a huge difference in how much gear we could bring. The flat floor inside makes packing easier than some cargo boxes Ive used, and the dual-side opening helps a lot when loading bags in tight parking spots. I also like the metal handle because it feels solid and locks everything securely before hitting the highway."

When the gear list grows longer than the cargo space inside the vehicle, the Yakima SkyBox NX 18 cargo box creates the extra room we need for road trips, ski weekends, and camping adventures. With generous rooftop storage and a user-friendly design, it helps keep luggage, skis, and bulky equipment organized without crowding the cabin.

Inside, the flattened floor maximizes usable packing space so bags and gear fit more efficiently. The dual-sided opening allows us to load and unload from either side of the vehicle, making access easier in tight parking spots or busy trailheads. Full metal locking handles secure the lid and lock the box to the rack system for dependable gear protection on long drives.

Designed to mount easily to most roof rack crossbarsincluding Yakima StreamLine systemsthe SkyBox NX 18 quickly becomes a reliable solution for travelers who want to bring more gear without sacrificing passenger space.
