Works well, looks great, and protects a 300$ part that could be smashed if you laid the bike down. Definitely worth the investment.

all fo works connection skid plates / glide plates / frame guards / master cylinder guards are ALWAYS the dopest of the dope. fitment is nothing but exceptional, period.
Protect your body first and then your bike
looks pretty sweet
excellent fit, seconds to install, top quality production standards, better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it!
Fit like a glove , was installed in about 6 minutes ( I used loc- tite on the mounting bolts ) and seeing how a master cylinder is between $ 180 - $240 , it's kind of a no brainer for the additional protection it offers. Can't comment on durability or performance, I just put it on, however , being made of aluminum , it won't rust off, and since it totally covers the master cylinder, it will take all the punishment first. Obviously , it cant protect against a deliberate , pinpointed impact , but such damage would go beyond master cylinder damage ( frame , mounting ears ) but for the bumps , bangs and scrapes (which would damage the master cylinder ) that we have all encountered , this product will allow you to brush the dirt off & keep riding !
This Works rear master cylinder guard fit my 03 CR250 very well. All the bolt holes lined up perfect. Didnt have to enlarge any of the holes. The fit and finish on this piece is excellent. Nice product. Prevents your boots from getting hung up on your master cylinder.
Only issue was that it didn't line up properly but it only took minor drilling to fix the problem. Otherwise it looks great.
I love works connection products and this is no exception. Looks great, fits perfectly on my 2012 crf 250x. Good insurance against possible damage.
just got a 2013 kx450f i noticed my boots kept hitting my rear master cylinder and scuffing it up and i was hitting it alot and didn't want to keep doing it. bought this guard fit really good clean fit easy to install and keeps my boot from smashing the cylinder good product only used it on ride but durable so far
