Durable construction, lifetime warranty

I bought this a month ago due to my factory basket being grooved to high heaven, so far so good, steel vs aluminum like the factory basket so obviously it will be much more durable, but what sold me is the lifetime warranty.

Wobbly

Installed on 08 trx450er, basket was tight to begin with. After a few rides it developed alot of play.

Works great!

Clutch is no longer slipping, I can actually take off from a standstill without stalling now. For anyone looking to purchase this, make sure you have a bench press handy. You'll need it to punch out your old kickstart gear.

Great basket

I bought this for my 09 ktm 450xcf and it fit great and works flawlessly! My stock basket was starting to grove and I had already cleaned the groves once.

Answer: You should be able to replace just the plates and springs in your original basket. However, if the basket has been damaged i would recommend replacing it. Typically you can just change the plates and springs and be fine.

Answer: Wiseco baskets are designed to work with stock components. Your cushions should fit, but make sure to check that they are in good shape still and not loose or worn out.

Question answered Over 5 years ago
Answer: Yes. Any OEM clutch components can be used with this Wiseco Clutch Basket as it is a direct OEM replacement. I would recommend looking under the OEM parts diagrams for your bike for the cushions and other clutch parts you will need.

Question answered Over 5 years ago
Answer: No, you will have to reuse your current gear. Press it out of your old clutch basket, then heat the new basket in the stove (400* for 15 minutes) and then the old gear will drop right in. Place something heavy on the gear so as it cools it will be tight. In 20 minutes it's all set.
Question answered by bodizafa

Question answered Over 5 years ago
Answer: No, you will have to transfer the gear to the basket. No big deal though.
