Nice rearsets, good value. Position adj start close to stock so should be good for everybody. I ride corners so I didn't want drag styles. I am 6'2" and 52 yrs but I will be going up/back one more than lowest/forward position. The shifting is very much improved over stock. Seriously nice bearing set up.The shifter is totally seperate than peg which is way better than some rearsets. They come pre-assembled, but need to torque all and recheck after a short ride. The finish is actually great! Also, the bike tipped over at the gas station and no damage/bending whatsoever, only a very slight scuff of the delrin end of peg and it just buffed off! These will hold up to use for sure. Thanks MotoS

Q: Fitment question for 2015 Ninja 1000
2 years 3 months ago
I see some bikes require different switches for the rear brake. Is anything like this required for the 2015 Ninja 1000 ABS? if so, do you have an example of one of these switches that I would need (URL)?

A: No, VooDoo Industries does not list that any modifications will be needed on your 2015 Ninja 1000.
Q: Will this rear set work with a 2012 ZX10R with ABS??

same deal.. I know a pressure switch is required but will it work with a 2012 ZX10-Rwith ABS??

A: Yes. The ZX10R uses a wheel sensor and ABS pump on the bike. The stands are the same for a ABS and non-ABS model.
Q: Will you have these in different colors, preferably gold?
Gold color would match current color scheme of My EX650 Ninja. Would these rear sets replace OEM Footrest stays of my NINJA?
MotoSport Staff Expert
A: No, as of now Voodoo Industries is only offering this Adjustable Rearset in black for your 2013 Kawasaki EX650 Ninja.
Q: Break light
I just want to know if this set has the rear break light switch hole, or is necessary to change the switch with an a pressure switch?
MotoSport Staff Expert
A: The Voodoo Industries Adjustable Rearset require you to switch to a brakelight pressure switch.
Q: Are these rear sets compatible with an ABS model?

A: I would need to know the specific Year/Make/Model of your motorcycle in order to give you an accurate answer. From what I can tell they will not fit the Honda CBR1000RR ABS models.

Q: Does this kit include both brake side and shift side?
I have a bent stock break pedal and was wondering if it would be worth it to just replace the stock rearsets with this Voodoo industries rearset instead since I wanted to do it for the longest time anyway. But I don't want to pay 600 bucks just to get both sides. I haven't dove in to my rearsets before so I'm just curious if the shifter and brake pedal all come together on a "rearset"
MotoSport Staff Expert
A: Yes this would be both left and right sides with the levers. Keep in mind this is a race-style rear set and will not work with the OEM mechanical brake light switch on your bike. In order for your brake light to function you would have to switch to a banjo bolt style brake light switch that would replace the banjo bolt where the line is attached at the master cylinder.
Q: GP shift on these voodoo Rearsets?
2012 ninja 650r rearsets: does this set of rearsets allow you to switch to GP style (reverse) shifiting?
MotoSport Staff
A: The Voodoo rearsets for the Ninja 650R do not have the option for GP shifting.
Q: Do Voodoo Industries Adjustable Rearset accept stock Ninja 650 brake and brake light switch?

A: You need to replace your rear brake master cylinder banjo bolt with a pressure switch type. I did this on my R1 simple and inexpensive, and readily available.
MotoSport Staff
A: On this rearset, Voodoo Industries actually includes the pressure switch for the rear master cylinder. You are not able to utilize the stock mechanical brake switch. The pressure switch is a replacement banjo bolt that will activate the brake light when pressure is applied to brake pedal and forces fluid through the banjo bolt. This will require you to bleed your rear brake system after installation. This kit will also include the mounting plates to run passenger pegs if you desire to do so also.
