Definitely helps on small atv's

Bought these for my son's kfx 50. They definitely helped on the top end. Yeah it maybe only gave him 1 or 2 more mph, but on a 15ish mph quad that's pretty good. He said it felt like it accelerated better with the vents in. I have to agree with him, as the motor didn't sound like it was staving for air and falling flat.

Easy install

Better to use these for the price then not at all and compromise your air box .

Great purchase

Worked great on my air filter cover. Provides a lot more air to my 2014 Honda CRF250L and it runs a lot better with the extra air flow.

Air vents work as advertised

The air vents are easy to install using a 1-inch hole saw and a de-burring knife to clean up the holes before snapping the vents into place.
I chose to use the air box vents as an alternative to removing the lid, even though I have a K&N filter with an outer-wears cover I didn't want debris or water splashing directly against the filter media.

Works

Fits tight! After 1 inch hole drilled out. Crisper throttle response.

They seem to work

I installed four of these on my 2003 RM 250. The bike runs better and the motor seems to be able to breath better. This gives it a crisper throttle response and it rev's easier. It's not a huge difference but you can notice it.

Serves its purpose, barely!

They increase flow to the throttle body but are cheaply made
the foam cones right out of them.

Just a little extra air to boost the top end!

Work as described. Installation was a snap. Literally. Looks OEM.

Answer: These allows more air to pass into the airbox. Keep in mind these are little vents with pieces of foam to help keep some dust and dirt out. if you're riding in extremely dusty conditions, your filter will become dirty quicker.

Answer: The package contains 6 vents. I've seen people use three on each side of the airbox. The amount of vents you would like is entirely up to you.

Question: Will water or dirt get into the box?

Question answered Over 10 years ago
Answer: Yes, putting holes in your airbox does increase the risk of sucking something through, but these do have screens to filter out the larger stuff that's sucked through, so you shouldn't really have anything to worry about.

Answer: water will get in the box the same way if you didnt have these installed, but you can oil the foam to stop dirt getting in.

Answer: Most likely not but it depends on the other mods you got. It wouldn't hurt to double check it though.
