It's loud but it does get quieter after you break it in.

The exhaust sounds great and is easy to install, but no pipe clamp to go back to the the existing pipe on the quad. I purchased a clamp to put there. Kind of a janky design in my opinion. If they would change that so there is an exhaust clamp there, it would be a high quality add-on.

Does Not Fit

Just got my M7 for my 2008 Yamaha WR450F. There is no way to connect the head pipe to the pipe that comes with the Two Brothers exhaust pipe. The pipes are different sizes and there is no clamp or composite "donut" provided to allow the two pipes to connect properly. I have this same exhaust on my other bike and it came with everything needed for a quick and easy install.

Great Product

Sleek looking and mean sounding exhaust. No problem installing it on my TRX 450r; came with all the right tools for the job. Instant pickup from the quad. A must have if you're looking for a reliable aftermarket exhaust.

Answer: HMF is typically going to be a louder exhaust, but we would need to know exactly which exhaust you have you are trying to compare this to.

Question: Would this exhaust require a fuel/ignition controller on the maverick after its installed?

I know the dragonfire exhaust doesn't require and changes, which I like. I prefer this exhaust.

Answer: Generally with a slip on exhaust you will not need a programmer. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your bike from there if necessary. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current setting. Tuning can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike.

Question: Do you have to have an aftermarket jacket or can you use the stock TRX 400 EX jet

Answer: Normally when installing a slip-on only minor jetting changes are needed, if any at all. If your ATV is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike
