Q: Your not sure what trick? Did you read what I was asking? will work for blinkers and a horn, and how I would wire it up, it seems like you should know this answer since the battery has to get wired in somehow and since it's aftermarket shops wont help.

A: The Trail Tech NiMH Vehicle Mount Battery will probably power turn signals and a horn; those components require less amperage than a headlight.
It will be best to have this battery, as well as the turn signals, horn, and lighting, installed by a qualified motorcycle mechanic who is knowledgeable in electrical system upgrades.

A: This is a 12v battery that mounts to the bike and can be used for multiple applications. You will need to refer to the instructions of the accessories for installation questions. Every installation is unique based on the bike and what your trying to do with it so we cannot give accurate advice for installation.

A: I am not sure what *trick* you speak of and what you are trying to solve. The item you are asking about is a battery. Please take your bike to a service shop and discuss what is needed and what is available for your project. Hit us up once you figure out what you need and we can then see what we can do for you at that time.

The bike is DC and I already have lights on it all LED. the stator makes 80 Watts the bike runs on 35 and I use about 15 to 20 I want to wire a battery directly to the bike as a backup that will help out when I'm using more light or a horn and charge when the lights are off. Will this work?

A: According to Trail Tech, this item is used for DC conversions, it mounts to the bike and is recharged by the bike's electrical system. For more info, I would suggest contacting Trail Tech for your specific application prior to your purchase.

A: Mounting and headlight application is personal preference and depends on installers expertise. I would try to mount the battery in a dry place on the bike. Also I would use a low draw headlight such as led. Here are a few links to good headlight options.

A: Yes it can. But Trail Tech does not make a charger for it so you are on your own for that.

Q: 2002 YZ250F lighting
1 year 8 months ago
So i actually read all the questions to see if my question was answered. Im looking to mount an 8" LED light bar on my handlebars to be used for riding at night. Only real question i have, how do i recharge it??? Does it come with a charger or do i have to buy one separately??? Not looking to recharge off the bike.

Q: 2015 kx450f head light
2 years 9 months ago
I have a 2015 kx450f. I would like to know if i can wire this up to a headlight for my bike. i know my bike wont charge the battery so i have two questions. 1. Is there a charger i can buy for the battery to charge it when it is dead. 2. Will this battery power a head light.

A: Hey josh glad you posted something about this. I have the same year same bike and have been wanting to find a way to run lights as well. Here's what I'm coming up with... I am planning on running a cyclops adventure headlight that will run off the plug and play AC hook up on the bike. I planned on buying this battery to run my tail light and brake light only so I wouldn't have a huge draw with all the lights. I have a battery tender that trickle charges 12 volt batteries and would plug it in after every ride or so. Have yet to do this but thought I would share and see if it helps you outd
Good luck

A: No, The Trail Tech NiMH Vehicle Mount Battery is just for supporting a lighting system. It doesn’t have enough cranking power to support e-start.
