What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"Ive used these on bright snowfields where glare can get intense, and the ChromaPop lenses really help define terrain. The side shields cut peripheral light, and the adjustable temples keep them secure even when Im moving fast or wearing a helmet."

High alpine environments demand serious eye protection. The Embark ChromaPop Polarized Sunglasses from Smith are designed for glacier travel, ski touring, and mountaineering, delivering dependable coverage and enhanced visual clarity when light conditions are harsh and constantly changing.

ChromaPop polarized lenses filter glare while boosting color and contrast, helping define terrain features like crevasses, wind drifts, and subtle changes in snow texture. The result is a clearer view of the mountain when visibility matters most.

Removable ventilated side shields block peripheral light for full alpine protection, while still allowing airflow to reduce fogging. Adjustable temple arms and Megol nose and temple pads create a secure, customizable fit that stays comfortable through long climbs and fast descents. Built with lightweight Evolve bio-based frame material and equipped with a goggle-inspired retainer strap, the Embark ChromaPop Polarized Sunglasses are designed for high-elevation objectives where performance and protection matter most.
