Love em

Had 120/180 Michellins on but they didn’t last long, giving these a shot 120/190... love them so far. Look good, feel great (can definitely feel a good difference in bike reaction time/sensitivity when I’m countersteering/playing), and half cost of the Michellins.

Garbage

Complete worthless garbage. Zero traction. I can't even explain how garbage these tires are compared to a Q3 or pilot power. If you ride in a perfectly straight line they will be great but I wouldn't suggest turning or leaning on them whatsoever

I love them!!

I purchased these tires a month ago I love them. I was worried at first before I broke them in because of the stiffness and looseness while riding. I also knew I had to get used to them as well. Two days in, they re the best tires I ever had. They make you lean into curves effortlessly. Sharp slow turns are the easiest they have ever been for me. These tires have made me a better rider really. I have a GZXR 1000 and my leaning, turning, and dipping skills have increased. I get great traction on straightaways as well.

Best tire for the money

I've been riding a Honda Blackbird for 18 years (I'm now 82 yrs old) and have tried numerous tire brands. Shinkos have proven the best - best mileage and grip - tire on the market. I'm not too happy with the way the front tire wears, but again, it's still the best one for the money. My daughter and I visit AR every year for the "good times"......lotsa twisty roads!!

Shinko Raven

I have these tires on my 02 954RR now and I'm very pleased with them. I've got just about 10K out of them and I think its the best bang for the buck. Thanks motosport.com for the very fast shipping. Ordered the tires yesterday and they showed up at my door the next morning. Thank again and I'll be doing business with you again.

Q: Which is the better tire for overall performance as far as longevity, Gripp and wet weather performance. The Shinko 009 Raven or Continental Conti motion. There is not that much difference in money.

A: I would suggest the Continental Conti Motion since it comes with free flat coverage from Continental. And it will out last the Shinko.

Q: My original tires are 120/60 17 will a 120/65 17 fit or is too big of a differance? thank you

A: Yes it will fit but it will affect the handling. The hight of the 65 tire would be slightly higher then the stock, so you would start leaning and the bike will dive faster because you've increased the hight at the center. That middle number (65) is your aspect ratio, basically the height of your tire. It tells you that the height is 65% of the width. 120/65-17: 120 mm X .65 = 78 mm. Generally you want to stick to the stock size that the bike was engineered for.

Q: Will this 170 tire fit my sv650s

A: All Suzuki SV650's come OEM with a 160/60-17 rear tire. You shouldn't have any problem going to a 170/60-17 but I highly recommend measuring your clearance before ordering as fitment is not guaranteed.

A: Our tire inventory is rotated so frequently that the tires do stay fresh. They are stored in our climate controlled warehouse so they do not see extreme temperature changes while being stored.
