What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

These are the kind of shoes that make you want to attack every climb. The BOA Li2 dials lock in a perfect fit, the carbon sole transfers every watt, and the ULTREAD rubber keeps you planted when youre off the bike. Shimano nailed the balance between stiffness, comfort, and control.

Whether racing the clock or grinding through all-day rides, the Shimano XC903 S-PHYRE Cycling Shoe transforms pedal strokes into pure efficiency. Designed for cross-country, gravel, and cyclocross performance, the XC903 combines a carbon-reinforced sole with Shimanos lightest and most precise fit system to deliver uncompromising responsiveness on every climb and sprint.

The dual BOA Li2 dials tighten micro-adjustably across the foot, wrapping a supple synthetic leather upper that adapts to your anatomy for a glove-like fit. Shimanos carbon fiber composite midsole sits low and stable, maximizing power transfer while maintaining all-day comfort. When the trail forces a dismount, the ULTREAD rubber outsole grips confidently on dirt and rock, so you can remount without losing momentum.
