I bought the 520 rk chain and Vortex sprocket kit for my gen 1 r6. Did a 15 tooth front and a 50 tooth back. Great setup for me and great product. If you have the right tools and stands you can do this whole setup yourself.

Great heavy duty Chain I have used RK for years. One of the best.
Very happy with the look and quality of this chain
I put about 300 hundred miles on it.. Seams to be ok.
The chain lasted 3 yrs never had any problems, maintained like instructed.
Put this chain on my 15 yz450. Have had it over a year and is very durable. It is a little heavy but I know it is more of a street bike chain. Bought the master link clip type instead of the press on type it comes with. If you are tired of going through chains on your 450 and ride a lot, I would recommend this
This requires a chain tool to secure the rivet type master link, but is more secure and reliable than the clip type.
This is an awesome chain!!!!!!!
It looks great on my bike and I know it will give me many miles of worry free riding I would highly recommend this chain to everyone looking to upgrade to a high performance chain.
I have had this chain on my '02 XR650R for about 100 miles and so far it is doing great. As stated by other customers, it comes with a rivet style master link. I purchased the clip style for easier installation.
Great product, BUT, the description should denote master link installation and/or prepare customer to buy clip master link also.

Question:Q: Can be used with a clip style master linkQuestion asked Over 3 years agoIt comes with a rivet style link, but would it be possible to install it with a clip-style link? is this clip available?
Question answered by KasebierUser's contributor status:Question answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: Yes. RK makes a clip style master link for this specific chain (search RK Racing Chain GB520XSO C/L Clip-Style Gold Connecting Link) on the internet. You really should consider using the rivet link though, they are much more durable. I keep a clip style in my kit just in case I ever break one of my rivet links on the trail, but I have never used it. "Breaking" and riveting a chain is incredibly easy if you have the right tool. I have an RK UCT 4060 Universal Chain Breaker, Cutter, Press-Fit and Rivet Tool Kit. A little pricey, but it is one of the best tools I have ever owned and small enough to carry in my pack on long trail or desert rides. Read the directions well and make it happen. You will never use a clip again...I promise.
Go to the following link to see the RK UTC 4060 instructions.
