Picked up this part for my sons 2017 KTM 250 sx, part fit was good, the only complaint I have is when it was shipped, one of the plastic caps that retain the needle bearings had fell off and the needle bearings had fell out, part was in a plastic bag, so the needles were there and i always pack them with more grease before installing, but it would have been easy to not see them in the bag, Other than that, part worked great!
First, I have had experience with this company and link many times in the past and it was fantastic. This is a good company! However...I bought this link for a 2019 KTM 350SXF. ONE of the rear mounting holes was machined very slightly too small. It fit the other side perfectly. However it was unusable. I tried to machine the other side out to fit the bolt and made it too big. Basically I ruined it. I should have sent it back for sure. Unfortunately I had to order another one. I suggest that before you mount to the bike make sure both bolts fit the link both front and back. This will save you a lot of frustration
Raise the forks 10mm and this link greatly improves turning and rear suspension performance. Allows bike to turn off berms early without a stink bug stance. Stable on whoops and jumps.
I love how easy the linkage was to install was really fast and looks amazing on my 2013 kx450f makes the bike seem more stable in the braking bumps and whoops lowers the bike 5mm
Installed this on my 2013 KX450F to help settle it down entering and exiting corners, and it did help in those areas. The bike was calmer in the chop and stayed settled in the corners. Part of that was from raising the forks in the triple clamps, and working more to dial in my suspension. But at the end of the day I think a racer would do himself better to save up a few hundred more and just have his suspension revalved. This is just a poor-man's half measure for the KX. If you really want that beast to do as its told you need to have your suspension set up specifically for you. Now I know...
Easy to install, great looks, fit and finish is excellent. And oh yeah, it improves the handling on the big KX!
We installed the Link on our 2014 SX250 KTM and it made a great Difference, Bike sits lower in the rear and Truns 100% better on Flat corners.. A+
