TTR125 Rekluse 3.0 clutch kit

I bought this kit for an autistic grandson that has outgrown his XR70. After riding it in the back yard, I think it is just what I wanted. He'll be here next week for spring break. Can't wait.

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

I first rode a buddy of mines 450 with the rekluse and I was impressed, so went ahead ordered one myself. Easy to install and great for the woods.

Best upgrade you can make for woods riding/racing!

I installed the 3.0 clutch with the lightest springs and it's amazing!
I had the old Z start model in my07 and 09 YZ250F. I could never keep it from slipping to much. Not the 3.0! I installed on my 2017 YZ250FX. It engages very quickly and reacts very close to the stock clutch. You can still us the clutch lever if needed. All that with no engine stalling! Best $400 bucks you'll ever spend! Braaap!!

2005 CRF250R Application

The install was incredibly easy. The instructions were clear. I fell in love on the first ride. Completely eliminates stall issues. Tuning is really easy too. I haven't had it on long so I can't yet speak to longevity but so far it was the best upgrade I've made to my bike so far.

Works flawlessly

The Rekluse came to my door in less than 24 hours via ground shipping. I had it installed in a couple of hours. If you've done a clutch before, it's an easy install following the directions. Adjusting it took a few minutes. Break in was fun and easy. Next rode it on street and dirt roads. The following weekend I rode a dual sport ride in SC which was mostly on single track trails. It worked flawlessly. Starting and shifting was easy. The clutch lever is a little stiffer to operate than stock, but you rarely use it. Never stalled the motor. Engine braking was really no different than wirhout it. Certainly worth the money. It can make difficult terrain easier to ride.

The Game Changer

I was VERY disappointed after installing this clutch. For the next few days I played and tinkered with the clutch adjuster to no advail. I was really debating on taking it off the bike before I took it to the woods.. I decided to leave it on for no particular reason. You will not get this set right in the shop. Bring your wrenches to the track or wherever you ride. It takes a few times adjusting it to get it perfect, but it completely changed how I ride. I can lock up the rear tire now, and push a high gear through a corner. It really links up like a wildcat after today's ride. I just got it set perfectly! When I'm coming down hills and the clutch starts to disengage I just downshift and bump the throttle and it grabs again so I can use my back pressure as a brake. If you're tired of your gears being to long to go slow enough to handle technical terrain, I STRONGLY recommend this disk. Make sure you lay your bike on its side for install though!! Or drain your oil. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Ride safe!

Recluse 3.0 for Yamaha YZ 125

Installed this for my wife on her yz so she could ride for longer periods of time due to an injured wrist. She loves not having to use the clutch in the woods. Installation was really easy and adjustment straightforward. I highly recommend.

Wish I would have purchased months ago

Absolutely love this clutch! Install was extremely easy in my 07 CRF250R, if you follow the instructions (I added 1 extra set of friction/steel plates). I also supplemented the instructions w/ the online videos on youtube by Rukluse. I miss read the instructions and was having difficulty, but 5 mins on the phone w/ Rekluse tech support and I was back in business.

I have had 2 rides on the clutch now, one practice and one race. Again I was held up by the price, but worth every penny. Wouldn't have another bike w/out this clutch.

DRZ400 with special install

I installed the Rekluse clutch in my DRZ400 to prep it for mostly woods and trail riding. It works great! Installation was simple. My bike has an aftermarket magura hydraulic clutch which normally eliminates the possibility of installing the Rekluse clutch. I designed and machined an clutch adjuster that mounts on the engine case allowing the proper "pre-load" to be applied so the Rekluse clutch works properly.

Q: My 2004 ttr 125 ez start has been a pain. Please help
1 year 7 months ago
I purchased one of the ez start kits a few years back for my wife's ttr 125 cause she doesn't have any fingers on her left hand. It has been impossible to get it to work for more than a few miles. I now can't get it to work. Is the exp 3.0 a different clutch. What are my options.

A: You get what's in the picture. The rekluse disk, pressure plate springs, and a few different disk springs to change engagement rpm. Everything needed to be auto clutching in less than 30 mins, not counting break in.

Q: High Idle on my 2012 WR450F
My bike likes to run with a high idle- will the clutch be tune-able not to creep at the high idle.
MotoSportExpert

A: Yes. All Rekluse Auto-Clutches are adjustable to suit rider preference and conditions. We’ve discovered that most riders are satisfied with our recommended setup, but they can be easily changed. Refer to your Owner’s Manual or Tuning Guide to adjust the settings to your liking by changing springs, wedges and idle speed. These changes will adjust how hard the clutch engages, and at what RPM it engages. Engine braking will also be affected.
