Great First Impression

The shock was easy to install. It has much better damping than the OEM shock, although in all fairness the stock one was 13 years old. I really like that it has pre-load adjustments available. I have only done a couple of rides so far but I'm pretty sure that I'll want to replace the front shocks too!

Wish it was a little softer. Rides a little too stiff.

i'm looking to lower the cg of my arctic cat 400 4x4 with a softer more flexible ride for crawling? As of now the shocks are just under full extension and drops about 1 inch when loaded with gear and rider.a arms are at 45 degrees from vertical with 7 inches of travel before tires rub fenders>

A: We won't have anything for crawling on our site for you, you would need to most likely hit up a manufacturer of shocks and springs to get you exactly what you need for what you are doing. Anything on my site will be more of an OE replacement shock with a little better performance but not on the side for crawling.
Q: Does this come with the bolts that go in the eyes?

A: The shocks do not come with the mounting hardware. They are meant to attach with the original OEM bolts that come off your old shocks.
Q: This suspension product details like eye to eye length , coil spring stifffness??

A: The shock length would vary depending on the model of motorcycle the shock is ordered for. I would suggest contacting Progressive directly to find out if they have a length that would work for your application.
