Perfect replacement for factory shrouds, decided to mix it up and go with black on red. For the money spent I couldn't be happier.

Not OEM Style

These do not have the slide grooves on the back like the OEM have. I do not know how well they will hold up under race or hard trail ridding conditions. If I had it to do over I would had gotten a different brand that is OEM style with the slide groove on the back!!!

Standard Guards

They are good replacements for standard application. We tried to use them with a Hole shot launch control and they bent and tore up immediately and were unusable. The plastic is too soft. Not as tough as stock OEM. The OEM worked perfect.

Perfect fits really well

Q: Do these have the groove on the backside for the 1999 RM250
1 year 1 month ago
On the 1999 Suzuki RM250 they went back to the inverted shocks (1996-98 had conventional) do these guards have the grove on the back side for the upper bracket to slide in like my stock ones?

A: Jasper,
The Fork guards that are being sold for your application are OEM replica. The will fit your stock setup and will include the grove on the backside of the guard to allow it to stay inline with the slide brake on the outer fork tube.

A: The image is a generic image supplied by the manufacturer for reference only. Once you profile the Make/ Model/ year of your bike you will have the option to select a color. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: Removal of the forks are not necessary. Just spread the back apart, wrap around the fork and bolt on.

Q: Hi do these come with the guides?

A: No. The guides would not be included with the Fork Guards. I would recommend looking in the OEM parts finder for the guides if they need to be replaced as well.

Here is a link to the OEM page with the guides for your 1994 Kawasaki KX250:

does if fit on DR400 2009?

A: These fork guards do not fit any of the Suzuki DRZ Models. From what I can tell only the Supermoto Version DRZ400SM would have this style fork guards but you would have to get the OEM replacement fork guards. The 2009 Suzuki DRZ400S would have conventional style forks and would use rubber fork boots which would also need to be ordered under the OEM parts for that bike.

A: These do not include bolts and will require the use of your stock hardware.
