I think that chain slider is better than factory

Ordered for a 05 CR250. At first glance, it looked like it would fit perfectly. Once on, I had noticed that it didn't line up to the frame like an OEM part would. Just off in certain areas. On the bottom, it was so far off that there isn't enough room between the slider and roller for the chain to pass through freely. Bolted up just fine. Used the original washers but got some #3 allens instead of phillips from Lowes and added some Loctite.
No issues with the few other Polisport budget items I've gotten, but this was completely unusable. Sad because the material seemed like it would hold up pretty well.
Good easy installation and holding up pretty well but it is a ware out part so as good as it can be I sopose there are better but it's lasting vary well got about 6 good rides long and fast ones been running lot of road last few rides I'm guessing like 400 miles now and I'd say the rub plate is about 95% still
Looks like the one I took off just not all worn out. Bolted right up no issues.
Easy to install. Reuse your old screws. Adjusted my chain slack. Chain was already lubed. First ride was very abusive to the slider. It started to melt on to my chain. The grooves were off line of where the chain goes, but my chain cut its own groove.
Fit as good as OEM Glide for much less! Things work great when you don't have to think about them; this is one of those things.
This chain slider was not quite the same as the OEM. It was a little shorter in length on the upper side of the swingarm. Mounting was identical in terms of the mounting holes. Be sure to retain the bolt anchors as it does not include them. You will have to remove the front sprocket to install. Seems to be durable so far after 4 races.
Went on easy, fit well on 2004 crf450
