Pod k4

I bought these braces to replace worn out astrik cell's, Wich were nice braces but had ran their course after several years. I read alot of reviews on knee braces and just coming off an ACL and knee reconstruction surgery I was going to step up my game as far as protection. I decided to go with the pod's and have been really happy with my choice. They are very comfortable and completely adjustable to fit the movement and lockout your looking for, plus they are slimmer and lighter than my older cell's. I liked them so much I got a second pair for my 16 year old son. They are his first pair of knee braces but seems to like them as much as I do. I definitely recommend them to any rider no matter of rider ability for the protection.

Pod Knee braces

I have waited to review this product until I have owned them for a year. I have now owned them for a year plus and I absolutely love them. They are comfortable, durable and work very well. I ride 10 months out of the year and have put many miles are these braces and I have no complaints. The straps have held up and they are still very comfortable. I highly recommend the braces for riding, wake boarding and snow skiing. Good luck with your purchase! phil

Great bang for the buck!

I found the braces allow me to ride for longer rides with more comfort on the bike than expected. It is early in the trail season here in Colorado so ride time has been limited but so far so good.

Good entry level braces

These are fantastic braces for the money. They are light weight, offer good protection and fit well. They are made out of a glass reinforced polymer and you can barely feel them on your legs. The patella protection is great and the braces offer good upper and lower knee protection. The braces come with multiple condyle pads to get the fit right and the straps are very adjustable and comfortable. My only complaints are the hinge system seems flimsy but only time can tell. And these braces are a tad harder to get to fit if you have larger legs. If you are small you won't have any problem. I was between two sizes and sized and up and was happy with the fit. These braces are very low profile and fit under every pair of MX pants I own (fox, fly, answer).

Great Brace! But other things aren't so well

I've had four rides in my braces and I would say they are great! But you should get knee brace sleeves for these K4 braces. I've had two rides with them without any knee brace sleeves and it does rub on you a decent amount. But with now with knee brace sleeves they're great. I just lost the M3 nut on the brace last time I rode which bites. They give you all these other options for the brace when you buy it like different pads and hinge extensions. But they don't give you anything that keeps the brace from falling apart which I don't get at all. Like I said love the K4, it fits well and snugged. But it does not come with things you need to keep it together if something happens.
