Just installed. Hoping these will outlast the others in the mud.
I bought this kit after buying an all balls kit that didn't fit and was unable to re-install wheel, so with that said , this kit was complete and looks much more heavy duty , i installed it in my 2011 KTM300XC , the factory kit has a c-clip , this one does not, so the former c-clip side ,bearing gets tapped down till it bottoms out , the other bearing does not go flush on the other side, inner axle tube stops it from bottoming out, after a phone call to a friend that is a tech at a KTM dealer, this is correct , so i finished up, wheel slipped in perfectly, no troubles, just threw me off since it was different than my 525 that i had for 11 years. overall i am very happy with this set up, everything fit correctly, took it for first ride all is good, i though i read the bearings have a lifetime guarantee, read up to verify that statement , no disrespect to all balls, (i used their bearings in a quad before , this is a much more heavy duty setup.
Doesn't fit my bike. The upgrade of this kit is wider bearings. They tell you not to use the retaining clip in order for the bearings to fit. But there's only one retaining clip so having two oversized bearings offsets the wheel. This causes the sprocket to scrape and the breaks to be misaligned.
I looked up this problem and it is a common occurrence on KTMs. Just buy stock size bearings.
Great upgrade will do to all my bikes from now on
