Great tires for dirt orientated rider

I bought the tire set for my 2018 klx250. Immediately i noticed a huge difference on and off road, on road it felt very sketchy but got better as the knobbs rounded off, still not completely comfortable going over 65mph. However off road it hooks, stick tire would break loose on uphill trails but still make it, this tire hooks and doesnt let go. As for tire life i am at about 2k miles, mostly off road and the back tire is now a racing slick and the front is at about 50 percent, ill be buying another rear and running it with the used front for another 2k miles hopefully. Overall if you prefer dirt and dont care too much about a comfortable on road trip then definately give these tires a try.

      Good Trail rider

After roughly 1000 miles of trail/enduro style riding, this front tire is holding up well. It is a bit spooky on the road, which is to be expected of any knobby, DOT approved or not. It seems to like soft terrain the best. My only complaint is the performance on log crossing, especially wet or green wood. Oddly enough my old Dual Sport tire had an easier time finding grip on logs. It's on my DRZ400

      Loose dirt sand but tall

Great in the loose stuff. Very tall tire biggest 110/100 I have ever seen. Consider 1 size smaller then usual would have a been better choice for me but still great tire. I will buy 100/100 next time

      Great tire

The MT16's hook up in a variety of conditions and the front is DOT approved for my dual sport. Wish they would last longer

      Great grip

I have had this tire out for a few rides and it is great in the soft muddy roots I rarely get any wheelspin even if I pop the clutch the wear is barely noticeable. I will buy this tire again when I need a new one!

A good off road dot tire. Doesn't seem like it will wear well.

Answer: The stock size on the 2004 Suzuki DRZ250 is 100/100-18 you should have no problems running the 110/100-18 as it is only 10mm wider but I would not go any bigger.

Answer: The Pirelli MT16 front tire is DOT approved. However, the rear is not DOT approved. I would recommend taking a look at the Dunlop D606 tires as both front and rear tires are DOT approved. You can find the front tire here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/Dunlop-D606-Front-Tire

And the rear tire here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/Dunlop-D606-Rear-Tire
