I have had this tire out for a few rides and it is great in the soft muddy roots I rarely get any wheelspin even if I pop the clutch the wear is barely noticeable. I will buy this tire again when I need a new one!
A good off road dot tire. Doesn't seem like it will wear well.
Motosport shipped this tire out very quickly, I thank them for that. As far as the tire goes. This tire is ok, I think it makes a better Dual Sport tire. The tire dose not clean out well when riding in mud, or deep dirt. Over all very rugged tire.
I purchased the tire probably six months ago. I have ridden almost every weekend since and the tire shows very little wear. I keep my bike off pavement for the most part but still ride hard over rocks and hard pack. No problem at all with grip like you might think. The knobs are still relitivally soft but made of a material that doesn't easily wear. I have been riding over 25 years, best tire I ever purchased.
I put this Rear MT16 on my KTM300xc , Lasts as long or longer than the DOT knobby's i ran prior to this (also a pirelli) good grip in all conditions, There may be better tires for specific conditions, Although this tire works great for mixed conditions, Rocks, mud, dry, loose dirt,.....overall happy , on my second one. Have been riding on pirelli and metzler tires for street, track ,and traill for 30 years ,,,
Several hundred miles of trail and pavement and literally no signs of wear yet. I bought this to replace factory rubber that was always pitching left and right. This one feels great. Takes me where I need to go. As for stability, Its a night and day difference from that factory rubber.
Bought my pirelli combo set mt16 in March. Riding in northeastern Ohio spring can be very muddy, riding single track woods riding with a lot of big hills the tires put a lot of traction to the ground. I've run them before and still like them, great set.
Front tire gripping great in corners no washout feeling at all rear tire wearing great lots of traction put them on a 84 us 490 ridding mt.vernon Colorado yeah
And the rear tire here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/Dunlop-D606-Rear-Tire
