Sound diminishing

Does not block entirety of sound, yet has decibel killing power. Not left with ringing ears anymore. Great fit and comfort.

Does as advertised

There great plugs, the muffle most noise but mostly engine, hard to describe but you almost can hear everything else better but quieter still. Comfy fit and easy to put in and take out but if you put them in not perfectly they get loose and don't muffle anymore.

Nice earplugs!

Bought these to wear when I was wearing a half helmet and found that I like to wear them with all my helmets, even my Shoei. They work like advertised. They are a little on the small size even with the largest inserts so it makes them a breeze to insert. First thing I noticed was when listening to music you actually hear more of the background music rather than the main tracks which made listening to my favorite songs a little funny.

Works pretty well

I tried these in place of the standard foam plugs I usually wear. They do block out noise and allow you to hear better, especially if you use a Bluetooth communicator. However I did find that after about 60 miles of 70+ mph riding I can tell they do not protect the same way the foam plugs do. I will continue to wear these for short rides or cruising around backroads. But at fast, open road speeds, they aren't quite enough for me.

Plugs work but are they better than foam plugs?

I purchased these and tried them on my two motorcycles; 2014 BMW S1000r and MV Agusta Brutale 800. The plugs come with two different bodies and one set of red noise filters. My own ear seems to fit the smaller of the two sizes and it was easy to put the small red filters into place. The ear plugs have a nice shape to allow them to be placed into your ear canal. They will stay in place which is a nice feature as I've had too many ear plugs try to migrate out of the ear canal and fall out.

I have a quandary with these plugs. Compared to the normal throw away foam plugs they are louder. However the literature states that they filter the harmful noise out most efficiently and allow the road noise that you want to hear past the filters....maybe that is what is going on and I just need to get used to it?

Good Ear Protection!

I bought a set of "No Noise" ear plugs and although they do a good job, they are hard to get in all the way and are a pain to get out. And, they must be put way in to do a good job of cutting the wind noise..
The Pinlocks are easier to get out and seem to cut the wind noise a little better.
The helmets I wear are a Shoei Qwest and a Shoei Neotec. I bought the Qwest because it was advertised as the quietest helmet of all at the time but it didn't seem any quieter than my HJC FS-15...

Answer: Yes they will.....compared to throw away foam plugs they allow more background noise........I use them with my uClear system and they allow me to hear the radio over my BMW S1000r.
