What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"I bring the Pelican Cooler Backpack whenever the hike ends at a lake or the day involves more than one setting. The dual compartment setup means my cold drinks stay separate from my dry gear, and the leak-resistant zipper on the cooler section means I'm not dealing with a wet back on the way out."

Some days have too many stops to get away with just a cooler or just a daypack. The Pelican Cooler 18L Backpack handles both jobs at once, keeping cold drinks ready in the lower compartment while the upper section holds everything else the day demands a dry layer, a towel, snacks, or whatever gets packed at the last minute. It's the kind of carry that makes a beach day, a lake hike, or a long afternoon at the trailhead feel genuinely dialed in.

The lower cooler compartment fits up to six cans, and zips closed with a leak-resistant zipper that keeps melting ice where it belongs not soaking through to the gear above or running down our back on the walk out. The expandable roll-top upper adds flexibility when the load is light or when extra layers need to come along. Durable 840D TPU construction stands up to rough handling and wet conditions, and padded shoulder straps make the carry comfortable even when the pack is loaded for a longer mission.
