This is the first nitro mousse I have had and I am about to put in my second one probably won’t ever go back to a tube love the feel of the mousse in the front
SO far so good, has a different feel and make sure you get the right size for your tire. Also not as hard to mount as it sounds. Just make sure to use lots of lube and it also helps to have bead holders and 3 or 4 good strong and long tire irons. Hard to rate the durability, hoping good? Traction is amazing.
I ride a lot of desert and kept getting flats I had countless patches on my tubes. Figured ide give this a shot I was tired of patching tubes or swapping them out. So far the mousse seems to work good. You can feel a little bit of movement under you Almost
Like a flat tire suppose it’s the rubber with the lube sliping on itself. I can live with the feeling over taking my tire apart over and over again. You for sure have to use the provided silicone lubricant to install the bib in the tire. Not sure you would be Able to get it in without it. I’m not sure how it will hold up over time. I’ve only rode on it once so far I will put a 3 star on that ratting. As well as performance.
I ordered a Nitro Mousse from MotoSport and when I get it there was no way for it to fit on my rim. I called NueTech and told them the dimensions and numbers off the box. Turns out they sent me a 1.5 year old mousse that was just rotting in their warehouse.
Luckily Nuetech took my info and sent me a fresh mousse that installed with no trouble.
Nuetech and the Nitro Mousse work great! I am very happy with the product once I got it installed! Thanks Nuetech!
I have put about 10 hrs on them so far plus a 2 day Full Gas Enduro. No issues. Recommend a Rabaconda for mounting and dismounting tires!!!!
I have used mousses for years.. I saw an ad for the Nitromousse and decided to give it a try in January. have ridden on the same set all season racing and trail riding and absolutely love the feeling, especially in the corners. Coming up on Sept and just now getting another set, I would've been on my 4th set of my previous mousse by now. BEST VALUE PERIOD! Get them, you won't be disappointed.
this is a very good option for mousse , different feel than the others but i like it more for fast tracks.
Review provided by 220 Off Road Tours:
So first off, the noticeable differences are the Nitro was much firmer and dense than the Michelin which is a bit "fluffy". These differences were also noticed when installing them as well. The Nitro seemed to go right into the tire itself, but like all bibs was still painful to get on the rim. I used the Artrax SX1 which tends to have softer side walls, but right away I could feel the difference. The Michelin's tend to be a bit "mushy" in the first few hours. Almost like the lube needs to sink in a bit then it gets more stable. However, with the Nitro I did not have that mushy feeling at all. We rode for over 2 hours in temps ranging from 82 to 105 and on very rocky terrain and also on some fire roads at up to 55 mph. Regardless of terrain, temps or speeds, the Nitro felt great and seemed to be much more stable with the Artrax than the Michelin.
More to follow as I put more hours on it in some extreme heat will be the big test, but so far I'm sold. Also, once I change the tire out, I will be able to tell just how it is holding up.
