RBF 660 Racing Brake Fluid

• Product Details

This item is considered hazardous material. Orders containing this product will ship ground only and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories or outside the United States.

Fluid for all types of hydraulic brake and clutch actuators requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid and is specially designed to resist the extreme temperatures generated by carbon and ceramic racing brakes.

  • 100% synthetic racing fluid - DOT 4.
  • One of the highest dry boiling points on the market: 617F (325C).
  • Ultra-efficient in the rain with a very high wet boiling point: 400F (204C).
  • Mixes with DOT 3 and 4 systems (Not DOT 5).
  • O.E.M. approvals: FMVSS 116 DOT 4; SAE J1703.

  Extreme thermal resistance and stability:

Very high boiling point (325C / 617F), superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non silicone base / DOT 5 silicone base fluids (260C / 500F mini) and DOT 4 (230C / 446F mini), enables effective braking even in extreme conditions.

  Efficient when rainy:

Very high wet boiling point, (204C / 400F) superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone base fluid (180C / 356F mini) and DOT 4 (155C / 311F), enables continued brake system efficiency even when rainy. Brake fluids tend to absorb humidity from the air, which reduces the boiling point and increases the risk of encountering "vapor lock" phenomena. The wet boiling point is measured by humidifying the product with about 3.5% of water.
