I bought this tool about two weeks ago along with my new chain well what can I say. The tool lives up to the hype it made my job so easy I broke pressed and riveted my old and new chain in all of a matter of 15 min I would totally recommend this tool to any mechanic or DIY mechanic

comes with everything you need for a new chain but the 14mm and 17mm tools. Small enough that I'll keep it on me when riding just in case of a chain failure.
Right out of the box, flaring a master link, magnet inside piece shattered. Move on the the next brand. 80 bucks dumped.
Easy to use and no broken parts.
I have only had to use this once so far but it is so much eaiser than having to grind and use a screwdriver like i was first using lol
Unbelievable tool!!!!!! I used this for the first time today and it works extremely well. So simple to use, you lock it on the chain, turn the plunger and it pushes the pin right out. You don't need a vise, you can use the tool right on the bike if you want, thats what I did. 3 minutes and the chain was apart!!! Unreal. Beats the old grind the peen off the pin method for sure. This tool does a few functions, but I only used it to break 2 chains so far. I'm sure whatever else it does is just as easy.
Works very well!
Much better than Motion Pro's cheaper chain tool.
Presses and rivits 520 chains with ease.
Plus the base is some kind of forged steel, much heavier duty than their cheaper tool's cast base.
Should have bought THIS one in the first place!
Top notch! ;-)
Great tool, used in a shop. Easy to use and speeds up chain replacements.
Motion pro never fails
I purchased this slightly concerned that it might not be good enough quality, I like good tools that I can buy once and never buy again. I also needed something compact and able to break a chain without grinding the heads off of the pins. This thing is the bomb. I read the instructions, didn't need to. It's literally so simple! Broke my old chain easily and removed the pin from the new chain with minimal effort, riveting was easy as well. I have used clip master links on all of my bikes and had a few failures, so now I'm trying out rivet links. This tool helped me make the decision as it will be in my tool kit for trail side repairs if needed. It's quality, simple and not as expensive as some of the other high end chain breakers.
