You’re basically buying a wrench and a drain tube. Having said that, it’s worth every penny -especially working solo. If we change brands, I’d get another one.
Bought this tool as a cool accessory for my toolbox. This was a great purchase because the tool worked really well. The only thing that would make it better, would be the handle was a little longer and the hose as well.
Fits my DRZ 400 SM ,however, wont clear brake hose on my CB 500 X.
Had alot of problems bleeding my grizzly untill i got this tool
I purchased two different size tools, an 8 mm and a 10 mm. They work very well and make bleeding the brakes and hydraulic clutch so much easier. One thing I did was put a hose clamp on the tube that is attached to the tool itself as one of the tubes came loose when bleeding the brakes. After I put a clamp on the tube it stayed on the tool.
The tool allows fluid and air to escape the brake system but doesn’t allow the air to go back in. You can leave the bleeder open until all the air escapes and then close it.
Makes bleeding much faster and easier.
Good tool and well made, fits bleeder screw better than most wrenches.
Only reason not five stars the handle could be longer for better leverage.
Used on my 07 road king.
This product is so simple, but works so good. I was very impressed. Only improvement that could be made is a longer tube. I had to thread the tube into a wrench to force it to hang over my drain pan as I drained brake fluid off. Other than that it works slick!
If you work on your own brakes, this is a must own tool. It makes the job 100% easier and is worth every dollar.
Works great. Only thing to improve it would be making the handle a little longer.
It's almost the perfect little tool to through in your box. The only suggestion I have is to get a longer tube. With my 2006 GSX-R1000, the tube that comes with it won't go far enough down to stay in a catch can. It would also be awesome if they redesigned it with a slide-out handle to get more leverage so that you don't have to crack it open with a wrench and then use the tool.
Aside from all of this, it keeps bleeding pretty clean.
