Nice tight fit

Fits great, nice and snug. Could barely get it in.

Works great and made in the US

These work great. Best is to heat the hose end before installing. If you're racing or it's a poor fit, use safety wire!

Looks great

Looked great until it fell off... I feel like they could use a better tube material that isn't so prone to falling off. Happened twice, never found it the second time

Good but

Good product looks good. Word of advice cut it down shorter and use super glue on the nipple of the cap for it to STAY. If not if just falls off after a couple minutes.

Tight Fit

I couldn't get this thing on at first and my son actually thought to heat gun it for a few secs and then it slide right on. As a result it is a super tight fit. My last one broke off and seemed a little stiff. This one seems more flexible.

Didn't survive 2 laps

Put this on to replace the original that occasionally popped out of position. This one was gone by the end of the second lap of a cross country race. I pushed it on as far as it would go but wasn't a very good fit. The original is back on.

Easy install. Durable. Looks great

Garbage

It never lasted the first cross country race. First lap I noticed it was gone. Went back to the standard hose.

A: I have used different brands and have never had any problems with leaking gas. They allow air to escape but not the gas. I like them so i can take gas cap off when pouring gas without having to pull gas hose off gas cap. I wouldnt pay a lot for these but if on sale they are worth having

A: The aluminum vent caps replace the stock vent hose on your gas cap and have a built-in one way valve that allows airflow in, but not out. So if you tip over and the bike is laying down gas will not spill out. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: It replaces your OEM vent tube that traditionally comes from the gas cap and is often put into the steering stem. This eliminates the excess hose and puts only about 1 1/2 of hose above your cap. Looks better and plus you don't have to mess with the goofy hose.

Q: Doesn't fit?
I got one kf these and I took the stock tube on my bike off I dknt understand it's too small around the bottom to fit on the gas cap.. I dknt know there's a little piece on my gas cap should I take it off or keep that on and finagle the vent onto it?? I'm new with this stuff btw thanks..

A: Really this should work for any dirt bike gas cap. From what I can tell looking at the OEM diagrams for your CRF80F it looks like the "extra" you are referring to would be the larger part at the top of the tube coming out of the gas cap this would slide onto. I wouldn't think you would necessarily remove or cut off that part, as doing so may not leave enough material to hold this vent hose on. Realistically the rubber hose should be able to be stretched over that larger portion at the top of the cap (lubrication may be needed to help). I would recommend trying to get this on the cap as it is before modifying your gas cap in any way.

A: use a hair dryer to heat up the tube and it will slide right on with ease

A: It's tough to put on because you have to work it onto the gas cap. I thought it didn't fit either when I got mine. Put one side on and work and twist the tube around the cap piece soon enough it will go on

A: Yes it does in fact come with a tube, however it is hard and a bit small. I had to put mine in a very hot cup of water and let it sit in it until it'd allow me to put in on my gas cap.

Banshee
A: Yes it will fit and replace oem tube. You will need to heat tube up with lighter and slide it on cap. This will form tube to cap and help it stay on. Be careful and don't heat to much or catch tube on fire.
Crfrider

A: Yes it does it fits perfectly, what i did was heat the end of the tube up with a lighter then put it on so it will stay better.
