Well Built, mounts securly.

The Moose Prospector is perfect for my Rancher 420. Carries everything I need it to, and I can strap extra stuff to the top when I need to. Seal to keep water and dirt out is a bonus as well. Only used 2 of the 4 included U bolts to attach, and it is VERY solid. You will not regret adding one to your quad.

Q: Can this trunk be placed on the rear rack if bolted down?
Regardless of this being a front trunk, Im wanting a lower height trunk for the rear of my 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 450. Anyone tried mounting the Moose Prospector Front Trunk on the rear rack? Thanks!

Not just fit, but fit well. How would it attach to a polaris sportsman 800?

A: The product is universal and mounts to steel racks with u-bolts. Since your model has the plastic rack you may be able to use the quick-release tie-downs but it is tough to say if they will work with your lock and ride rack from Polaris.
