Did research, watched/read the reviews, previously had them, still nothing better. Long lasting, great handling and performance.

Just ordered a set for my 2015 K1300S (2k miles) the stock Metzelers are already showing signs of wear. Are use these tires on my FJR 1300 and went through two sets. Best wet weather traction I’ve ever experienced. I live in Washington state so I get lots of opportunity to test them out in the rain :-)
Dry weather traction is excellent the multi-compound carcass is excellent. And where on the center of the tire is minimal after many many touring miles.
I highly recommend these tires.
I am currently my second set for my Kawasaki 1400 ZR. These tires provided excellent wet traction through the rainiest winter we've had on the coast in a long time. Dry weather traction inspired confidence even at extreme lean angles. And they provided better overall wear mileage than the OEM tires!
Was very impressed with the pilot power 3's and figured I would try the 5's. Got close to 13000 miles from the 3's!! Have had the 5's for about 2 weeks now and put them through deep, sharp curves but not rain or wet surfaces yet. Getting a very smooth ride on my 1400 Kawasaki sports touring bike!
Pilot Road Three is good, Pilot Road Four is OK, but the Pilot Road Five is a terrible tire. The Front tire is awful, does not inspire any confidence entering a corner. Neither front or rear has any cornering grip. The front tire was toast in 4K miles, yet the rear looked like it was good for another 2,000 miles, and I was using very little front brake! Do not buy these tires, Michelin should be ashamed of this trash! BMW RT 1200, 32 psi front, 36 psi rear. (The weight of the new Michelin was less then the worn out Dunlap it replaced so I knew it wouldn't last. Therefore, I tried to not use the front brake. But still, the front tire wore out so fast and they were the worst handling tires I ever used. Complete Trash! Stick to PR4 or PR3s) I go through a lot of tires and if they only last 4K miles, you may as well use Pilot Power 3s for the greatest grip and handling. I can't say enough bad or bad enough things about these Pilot Road 5s, they were just terrible, awful, worthless......junk.....
I purchased these for my CB 500 X, for the 17 inch stock wheels. I have the Rally Raid package on it with TKC 80"s for the rough stuff.I wanted a good tire for rain as we live in Ohio. It's smooth and grips the corners like any sport bike with these tires. If you put a new chain on like I did wash your tire after the first hi speed ride cause the grease from the new chain crawled right out on the hard cornering part of the tire. And I mean it will corner hard as you want, great tires.
Purchased them in April for my converted into a sport touring Yamaha MT10. They lasted for 8 000 miles. Surprisingly the front tire wore out just as fast as my rear. (true, I use my front brakes for 99.9% of the time). I do take long road trips therefore I load my side cases and my top case which adds the extra weight on the rear tire. Pleased with the traction both at take off and on the twisty mountain roads. Happy with the tires under braking both hard or trail braking. Never used them under wet conditions.
I was hoping for 10 000 miles thus the reason of only 4 stars.
I Bought these tire on the recommendation from a friend that rides a 2015 ZX-14, I rode his bike and found them to roll side to side unbelievable and grip was crazy. So, I bought them for my Kawasaki Concurs 14... let me start off by saying they handle better than any tire I have ever bought on any of my sport bikes. If you are looking for one of the best handling and grip in a corner this is your tire. Don't wait or even think about should I... Just buy these tires and you will be saying the same stuff. I can't believe I wait this long to buy these tires. What was I thinking!! Hands down one of the best tires in the market.
Great product great buy very satisfied awesome would recommend...
I have used pilot road tires,,then pilot road 2 tires,, then pilot road 3 tires and many pilot road 4s,, and these road 5 tires are even better !!!
