Ordered some tires got them fast exactly what I expected I’ll buy again for sure.
Last for quite a while
I bought the Maxxis Maxcross IT front and rear tires for an 05’ CR85 expert. My son loves them and they work great!
Purchased 2 tires. No maxxis lettering decals on the tires. My son was a little upset only because in the picture it shows yellow lettering on the tires. Still a good quality tire.
When I was reading about this tire, I was skeptical about it. So, I decided to buy it, and give it a test run. This tire bites every corner I throw the bike in, and it’s traction is surprisingly phenomenal! It’s soft compound allows the bike transfer energy to the ground with minimal to no slip! Definitely would recommend this tire!
First time purchasing tires for this bike and decided to rock with the Maxxis Maxxcross IT's, both front and rear. After multiple rides the logo still shines on both tires, couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of these tires on my bike they definitely allow for much needed traction and griping in most conditions, snow being the exception it always gets a bit frisky in the winter time on the bike. I wouldn't necessarily say that changing a tire is easy, it is what is if you know you know. Very satisfied with this purchase and if you are in the need for new tires and live on the east coast then these are MAXXIS IT.
I bought this maxxis tire with the matching front and installed them myself on my wife’s crf150r. Of course had to test them out after install.. They hook great, nice job Maxxis!
Shipping was fast, exact with order, and a great product! Super Knobby tires and provide traction as description stated. Will buy again for future bikes.

Question answered by ChoweUser's contributor status: Top 25Question answered Over 5 months agoAnswer: A: That tire may hold up a little better than a regular motocross tire, however is not DOT approved and is intended for off road hard terrain riding. You may want to take a look at the DOT approved tires. If you have any questions give us a call at 1-888-676-8853.

Question:Q: I ride motocross in south caorlina. Mainly hard packed tracks. What's your suggestion for the most durable hardpack mx tire?Question asked Over 5 years agoI'm very hard on my tires.
Question answered by MotoSportGrantKUser's contributor status: MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: The Maxxis Maxxcross IT tire is one of the most durable tires available. However, where it makes up in durability, it gives a little in performance due to the hard compound. The other option for another good long lasting tire for hard packed terrain with good performance would be the Artrax MX-Pro which you can find here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/ARTRAX-MXPRO-REAR-TIRE
