Grippy

Talk about grip it and rip it this tire is well worth the money the only downside is being that they grip really good they ware out pretty quick to but going from hard pack dirt to super soft and rocky dirt it hooks

Great Front tire

I have been using this tire for years and will not change brands again. The tire hooks up well on all terrain and lasts forever. I would highly recommend this tire, worth the money

Great Tire!

I have used these tires for years and they are the best! I ride cross country, occasional motocross tracks and the Hatfield and McCoy trails and these tires hook up on everything. The tires last and are worth every penny. I would recommend letting them sit in the sun prior to mounting them, makes it so much easier.

Better durability than expected

I bought this tire on accident thinking I was purchasing the maxx cross dessert. By the time I noticed it was cheaper to just run it rather than return and purchase the correct tire. Surprisingly, it far exceeded my expectations. Traction was great and not only did it last 1 full season, I'll be starting a second season with it and don't see any signs of it giving up yet. The areas I ride are notorious for destroying tires and tearing entire nobs off.

Great Tire

Took me almost 2 hours to install, but it was well worth it.

Taken on 2 heavy long rides so far on my kdx200,
still looks and acts brand new!

Great tires

Ran these in the past and couldn't pass up the sale that was going on, only thing was the front tire only had the yellow maxxis logo on the right sidewall, the left was bare with no logo. The rear tire had the logo on both sides. Great tires for hard packed dirt

No logo on the tire

A: For your YZ250F you would need the 80/100-21 front tire and the 100/90-19 rear. Your owners manual is showing you the rim size (Rim Diameter x Rim Width). Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: Both are great tires. Depending on the terrain you will be on the Maxxcross IT tire provides superb handling in a wide veriety of terrain conditions where as the Maxxis Maxxcross SI provides traction and performance in soft/intermediate terrain.

Q: I ride motocross in south caorlina. Mainly hard packed tracks. What's your suggestion for the most durable hardpack mx tire?

I'm very hard on my tires.

A: The Maxxis Maxxcross IT tire is one of the most durable tires available. However, where it makes up in durability, it gives a little in performance due to the hard compound. The other option for another good long lasting tire for hard packed terrain with good performance would be the Artrax MX-Pro which you can find here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/ARTRAX-MXPRO-REAR-TIRE

A: We move through our tire inventory fairly quick. None of our tires sit in the warehouse for a very long periods of time. When you receive the tire you can verify the age of the tire based on the date code on the sidewall.

A: I went with this tire, and I live in Arizona. All I can say is super impressed, Ive got about 300 miles and have around 45% tread left. The only thing I haven't tried is the Maxxis Maxxcross IT Desert, that is the only tire better that I could see.

A: I shared your concerns....especially about the hardpack. I ride in the Sierra Nevadas and Prarie City SVRA. Some gravel, lots of hardpack. They work great...better than I expected. One of the best hill climb tires I've been on.

A: As far as traction goes, both tires will perform great. If you are looking for a more durable longer lasting tire- the Maxxis IT in rocky terrain will not wear out as quick.

A: I am new to riding dirt bikes I usually have only written four wheelers in the past unpacked gravel I flew around at 50 miles an hour up and down mountainsides in Missouri it handled very well with these tires some of the roads that had new gravel applied the bike did get a little squirrely but that's to be expected on loose gravel these are all around great tires went from loose gravel packed gravel asphalt dirt mud did well on all except for the loose gravel
