Great Tire!

I ride very hard on compact dirt and this tire has held up very well. Rode it on a flat a couple of time and its a tough tire. Recommend

Nice Tires

My son needed to replace his stock tires on his 2015 CRF150R, so a friend recommended Maxxis and he couldn't be happier! Of course too soon to mention wear and tear, but for now he is getting the grip he hoped for and the price worked well with his small budget! Thanks MotoSPORT

Holds up very well

I bought this tire and put it on my Yamaha TTR 230 and so far it has been a great tire. I have already put several hours on this tire and it is holding up very well. My only complaint with this tire is that it does not hook up in certain cases as good as I hoped it would... It slides around a lot more than previous tires I have had. Overall a decent time for the price but still leaves a little room for improvement.

I was told they was red letter but was yellow

And plus yellow letter was only on one side I can take pic and send if needed. Will not do business again and will not recommend a friend

Good tire for harder pack/ intermediate

Good tire for harder pack/ intermediate, pretty much my favorite all around tire. I wouldn’t want to ride sand with it tho, probably wouldn’t do very well. When I go to Florida, I buy a rear sand tire and change it, never even attempted to ride sand with it. But pretty much all other dirt, it hooks up good, corners good, I like it

A: For your YZ250F you would need the 80/100-21 front tire and the 100/90-19 rear. Your owners manual is showing you the rim size (Rim Diameter x Rim Width). Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: Both are great tires. Depending on the terrain you will be on the Maxxcross IT tire provides superb handling in a wide veriety of terrain conditions where as the Maxxis Maxxcross SI provides traction and performance in soft/intermediate terrain.

Q: I ride motocross in south caorlina. Mainly hard packed tracks. What's your suggestion for the most durable hardpack mx tire?

I'm very hard on my tires.

A: The Maxxis Maxxcross IT tire is one of the most durable tires available. However, where it makes up in durability, it gives a little in performance due to the hard compound. The other option for another good long lasting tire for hard packed terrain with good performance would be the Artrax MX-Pro which you can find here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/ARTRAX-MXPRO-REAR-TIRE

If i bought this tire today, will it be a new tire or one that has been sitting in the wear house for a long time?

A: We move through our tire inventory fairly quick. None of our tires sit in the warehouse for a very long periods of time. When you receive the tire you can verify the age of the tire based on the date code on the sidewall.
