Maxima clutch saver

I have been using this oil on my sons bikes from 50cc all the way up to 125. I have tried one other oil and went right back to Maxima.

Maxima MTL-XL

Great oil for the lil 50's, KTM, cobra, etc. I use this oil in my sons 05 KTM 50sx Pro Senior LC with a oil additive called Two2cool and don't have any overheating problems what so ever, even when it's a full day at the track with 95 degree weather. Great product in my opinion!

Answer: It is best to verify your owners manual for oil specifications. This oil is designed for water cooled two stroke engines that have a wet clutch and that is exactly what you need. Maxima is a great and consistent manufacture with top of the line products.

Answer: This is information that you can locate in either your owner's manual, or a service manual for your bike. However for your bike, you are recommended SAE 10-W-30 for transmission oil and a 2-cycle 10-W-40 for motor oil.

Answer: Honda recommends 80W/85W transmission oil or gear oil for the transmission on your '97 CR80 and CR80 Big Wheel.
The Maxima Transmission Oil MTL-XL is 75W, so it is not correct.
We carry many other transmission oil or gear oil in 80W and 85W.

Answer: Yes this oil would work just fine in your 1995 KTM300MXC. I would recommend going with the 80wt though, as that is typically what is used and recommended.
