I’ve been running this product for 27 years I think it’s the best gear oil out there I have never had one problem in any of my transmissions .
I have had great clutch life couldn’t be more happy with this product.

Amazing tranny fluid!

Put this in my crf450 and it was great. Actually felt like neutral was much easier to find! I recommend this to anyone who puts in some work on the clutch and gears! Maxima fluids are the best and most cost effective on the market!

Okay

Works well but Maxmia Castor927 keeps my engine cleaner with about the same amount of smoke.

Maxima Transmission Oil MTL-R

If you had made the investment of dirt bike I would highly suggest spending the extra money for this oil. I have used it for the past 8 years can honestly say when I tried other brands our clutches did not last as long.

Q: Will this oil work well for a 2005 RM125?
2 years 7 months ago
My 2005 RM125 owner's manual recommends 10w40 motor oil. Is this Maxima 80wt still a proper oil for my bike? What's the difference between 10w40 and 80wt?

A: Yes the Maxima Transmission Oil MTL-R 80wt would work great in your 2005 Suzuki RM125 and will last longer than 10w40 motor oil. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: heavier oil gives more protection but makes it a little stiffer shifting. refer to your Honda owners manual too see what they recommend but either 80w or 85w should be just fine
