Ok, this is my first negative review. The first can showed up damaged in the bottom corner, I thought it just damage during the shipping. Got a replacement immediately, used it twice, and it starts leaking on the same spot.

Good product. Easy to use. 4 gallons is plenty 99% of the time.
Nice can built very well. The 4 gallon size works good on the side by side.
I brought the m3 utility fuel can and used it for the first time and thought what a great idea. Until I got home after the first day, un tied it and noticed a split in the bottom corner, a full container had leaked in the tray of my ute. On further inspection I noticed the the four corners at the bottom were very soft, surprising since it's supposed to be made out of super strong plastic. I was terribly disappointed as it cost 99 dollars au. I hope the manufacturer will back up the two year warranty. It was never dropped and was tied down correctly.
After years of fighting "environmentally compliant" cans that pour more gas down your wrists than in the tank, I finally found a fuel can that works. This thing is great. Fills easily, hauls easily, handles easily, pours easily - and won't leak. The vent not only allows fuel to flow smoothly and quickly, it also prevents the can from bloating on hot days. The spout is long and flexible, and can be sealed at the end.
Okay, now the bad news. The reducer that attaches the spout to the tank is prone to breaking. Be very careful not to stress it while hauling or fueling. I've been through three or four of them. Matrix used to warranty these, I would just trade the broken spout for a new one at the dealer. Don't know if they still cover them. It's been awhile since I've broken a spout, maybe they've improved the construction by now. Another negative is that the spout tube will eventually stiffen, making it a little more difficult to use.
All in all a good buy, even if you end up having to buy a new spout once in a while.
Purchased this can over the winter and before I went through one jug of gas in the Spring I noticed a crack in the coupler that screws the hose to the can itself. Looks like the plastic had a bad spot in it and that's where it cracked. Pretty bummed about it.
Matrix M3 works great
Love this thing. Looks good, it's really well made and makes pouring gas a breeze. Get one!
It has thick plastic nice hose on it, I dropped a few times and no gas came out.
Nicest gas can ive ever owned...makes fueling up easier.
