The shell is now made from LS2's exclusive Kinetic Polymer Alloy, and material that blends microscopic levels of aramid fibers into a high-end polymer, allowing for amazing energy management. The Rapid II meets the stringent ECE 22.06 safety standard and includes LS2 proprietary Advanced Rotational Energy Management (AREM) system to better handle rotational forces. The adjustable, quick-change, toolless shield is made from optically correct Class A polycarbonate. The comfort padding is removable and washable so you can keep it as fresh as new.
