I recently purchased this after a short stay in the hospital and finally decided to force myself to start wearing more safety gear. As someone who hates wearing extra gear but is getting older, 56, and has been riding most of my life and wants to ride for the rest of it I have to say the only complaint I have is it is a little warmer with this thing on. On the other hand I am surprised to say that it is very easy to put on and off and I cannot even tell its on while I am riding.
I bought this afew months ago and I really like it. It has so much more protection than all other protectors. In all the other reviews I read people said the shoulder pads weren't removable. They are wrong completely removable if you desire. I have had a few spills since purchase nothing real bad, but I feel my ribs stand a much better chance now against handle bars or whatever with this protector. Definitely a must have for a higher level of protection.
The chest protector fits perfect. Looks good and is extremely comfortable! My only complaint is that the adjustable straps for the shoulder pads do not stay in place. They tend to slide down in to the loosened positioned. I will likely sew them in place to prevent that. Other than that I absolutely love this chest protector.
Probably the most comfortable cheat protector I've ever worn. Fit was great. No complaints at all
Fit is very comfortable. Fell allot safer with this on. Being that I'm new. Highly recommended.
Nice fit and does its job of providing the right amount of protection.
This is the most complete torso protection I've ever used. Chest, back, rib and kidney coverage is excellent, CE rated and highly comfortable and impact resistant. I did remove the shoulder pads (one clip attachment) but am planning to reattach them when I start riding again, as they are not very noticeable when riding. Interface with Leatt neck braces is perfect, spreads out the force from the brace and does not allow collar bone contact. More people should wear these.
As someone who is 6'5 I cant tell you how hard it is finding protective gear like this that actually fits and fits well. im a pretty large guy and this fits so much better than any others I have bought recently and sent back. If it was damaged tomorrow I would but it again.
This is more than a roost protector it is crash protection. We race in three or more amateur race series a year and it seemed the injuries were piling up. So as a Team we decided to go with the highest level of protection we could. It fits our neck braces perfectly and they are hardly noticeable while riding. They are heavier than my Troy Lee roost protector, but I have confidence that my next crash will result in fewer or lower injuries than without it.
We have three of them and we do not ride without them. We wear gear to protect from crashing. It is the crashes we are worried about.

Question:Q: What size do I need?Question asked 2 years 9 months agoI'm 6'0", 200lbs right between the sizes they offer in this chest protector. I'm curious if people who bought this in my size range, what size did you purchase, and are you comfortable in that size. I definitely want to wear this under my jersey, so what are your thoughts?
