LEAKS AFTER FIRST TIME FILLING

Pin hole leak in the bottom at the seam. I filled for the first time and left over night and came back to a puddle of gas.

Do Not Buy, they leak like a sieve!

On my second one, it's leaking too. First one eventually developed a leak on the bottom seam. Now, upon close inspection, the replacement unit is leaking in the same place (bottom seam). Poor quality. KTM needs to go with a different supplier on these.

The seem on the replacement they sent doesn’t look very good either I’m expecting it to eventually leak also! they made a cheap jug and slapped a Ktm sticker on it to sell... have to replace carpet in my suv this will cost me over $300. they need to stop selling this can until it’s fixed! Don’t buy!

Pin hole leak on bottom

I bought this gas jug over the winter and have used it a few times since then. Love it!! But the other day I filled it up, put in the back of my truck and when I got home I noticed it smelled like gas and the truck bed was wet. Found out the bottom of the jug had a tiny crack on the seam. Makes me question the ktm plastic...

Do you need to use some type of special sealant on the hose threads to make it spill proof? Or simply tighten down hose as it comes with bare threads?
