      Over priced junk

Bought a set last year less than 15 hours on them and both intake outer springs are broke and from the looks of the break it would seem the alloy is cheap as it sheared off.

On our 3rd and last set of these springs. Had one inner break after 30 hrs. Second set, had all 4 inner springs break in 25 hrs. Two of them broke in 2 different places.

      Must Have!!

I did a complete rebuild, bought kibblewhite valves so these springs were a no brainer. Dont put money into a motor and reuse old springs, buy a quaility built spring and get the performance you need at full throttle.

Question: Does the bigger ( larger diameter, heavier spring) go on the exhaust valve?
Question asked Over 4 years ago
It's a 2010 crf450r putting my head back together and the springs got messed up . I need to know where the different springs go. Or if you could measure the outside diameter of the spring on the intake kit that would also tell me. Thank you

Question answered Over 5 years ago
Answer: No. The stock intake and exhaust springs from Honda are different sized. You may need to measure the springs to determine the differences if they are not marked. Also you can contact Kibble White direct as they can answer more technical questions better:

Question answered Over 6 years ago
Answer: You should not have any issues running Kibblewhite Valves Springs with your Stage 2 Hot Cams. This is a Racing valve spring kit so it would be an upgrade over the OEM valve spring set up.

Question answered Over 10 years ago
Answer: If you are wanting to run kibblewhite valve springs you will need to run their valves along with them so I would recommend replacing both the intake springs and valves and the exhaust springs and valves at the same time.

Answer: depends on how you ride.. if you like to bounce your bike off the limiter, which is probably part of the reason your intake valves are fried to begin with, then DO NOT run kibblewhite springs with OEM honda valves.. if you are repairing a hammered bike that won't be abused, you could probably get away with using an oem valve with a kibblewhite spring and/or using a kibblewhite setup on intake side and leaving oem on exhaust.. the stiffer kibblewhite springs are made for the heavier and more durable stainless one-peice kibblewhite valves, you will rip your stock 2-peice friction welded titanium valve in half, i know because it happened to me.. destroyed my entire motor, spend the money on the entire kibblewhite spring and valve kit and not worry about your valves for a long, long time. (after break in/ valve seating period and re-shimming, of course)
