I purchased 2 of these kits. The pricing and products are great. I did not research enough to know that not all bearings are included. I had to spend another $150 for each bike for complete bearings. If you have the cases split you may as well replace all wear items. They only include crank and wrist pin bearings with these kits.

First off, I'd like to say that Paul at Motosport was very helpful with getting this kit shipped out ASAP. Ordered on Monday afternoon and received Wednesday by lunch for only $15 extra on shipping. Had bike racing on Thursday! The kit is good quality and the YZ125 is running great again.
Now the not so good: they shouldn't call the kit "complete" as it did not contain any seals other than for the main bearings. I specifically asked if it contained all the lower end seals and was told incorrectly that it did.
Gaskets were just OK quality, but are holding up fine.
You pay a bit more for the Hot Rods crank; time will tell if it holds up better.
Overall tight and smooth, spec'd out good.
Crank was nice quality looks much nicer than the weisco crank we will see if it’s better. I did not like the gasket kit seemed very cheep. Crank bearing were very tight in the case and on the crank yes I did freeze them before install
Weisco piston standard overall nice kit just minor complaints
Everything you need for a complete rebuild in one pkg
This kit has everything you need for top end and crank rebuild. All gaskets were there. You can’t beat the Wiesco pistons, but their cranks are garbage. This one has the hot rods crank. So far no issues.
After seizing up my engine (grenaded main rod bearing) I decided to go for the hot rods kit over the wiseco, simply because of the amount of bad things I've heard about wiseco cranks.
Everything came in within a couple days of me ordering. All the parts were correct and were in perfect condition upon arrival. This was my first time rebuilding a bottom end, and with the help of youtube and the service manual I got it figured out. Bike has been running great so far (only a couple hours on it so far) and I will update the review as time goes on if I experience any difficulties. I am by no means a professional, so if I can do it, so can you...
Only thing I have to complain about is that the gaskets in the kit weren't all that great. I ended up having to RTV some stuff after I saw some leaking transmission fluid.
I had gotten the bottom and top complete hot rod kit and everthing was going great till it came to putting the gaskets on.
extremely fast shipping,fair price,good quality
very good top and bottom end kit you can tell there is more power and better performance and it was a very easy installation.

Question:Q: Will this kit work for replacing a seized engine?Question asked Over 7 months ago
Question answered by CodyGearheadUser's contributor status: Top 25Question answered Over 7 months agoAnswer: A: This should be all of the internals for that repair. Though sometimes seized engines include damage to the cylinder, cases and other parts. I recommend tearing the bike down first. If only your internal parts are damaged, this should have everything you need.

Question:Q: Was just wondering what the difference was between the two stock bore piston options? One is an additional 8 dollars and the other an additional 32 dollars. ThanksQuestion asked Over 8 months ago
Question answered by ChoweUser's contributor status: Top 25Question answered Over 8 months agoAnswer: A: Depending on the bike you are looking for Wiseco doe offer different style pistons that may be a high compression stock bore piston. Give us a call at 1-888-676-8853 and we will gladly assist you.
Question answered by CodyGearheadUser's contributor status: Top 25Question answered Over 8 months agoAnswer: A: I'm showing the website listing three different stock bore options for the 2005 Honda CR85. The first one that has no additional cost to the kit is Wiseco part number 833M04750. This is their Pro-Lite piston which is basically an OEM replacement. The second one listed for an additional $8.00 is their Racer's Choice stock bore piston, Wiseco part number 838M04750. The Racer's Choice piston is hard coat anodized to increase durability under extreme racing conditions. The third stock bore listing for an extra $32 is actually an error on our site. It's Wiseco part number 766M05200 which is the oversized 52mm supermini piston. I will have this corrected.
