The R1 Communication Control Unit uses the same CCU components that come standard on the high-tech YZF-R1 M. It even includes a free download of Yamaha's Y-TRAC app to use on your smartphone or tablet allowing riders to download their captured data from the CCU via Wi-Fi to the app, where they can then analyze the data, make setting changes, and then upload those changes back to their R1 or R1S.

Gives feedback on traction control, slide control, lift control, and other ride data via GPS satellite.

A MUST for track enthusiast !

I only do trackdays with my bike, no street at all.
Have this on my 2016 R1 (Not the R1M) and it is absolutely amazing !
Gives you live lap times on the dash with tons of data.
All you have to do is download the track map to your phone, set the Start/Finish line and transmit the new track to your CCU. All the process takes less than a minute !
If you do a lot of track days and want to have progress everytime, this is a great tool !
