I bought these boots based off having a pair of sg12 in the past. They are pretty comparable for the most part. Definitely run on the big side. I wear a size 10 in just about every other pair of boats I own and these fit way big. So take that into consideration. Other than that I've got one race in them and been happy

In some parts of the world, such as Italy and Japan, size 6 is considered to be a men's size. In other parts of the world, including the US, size 6 is considered to be a boy's size. In any case, size 6 is the same size, sitting between size 5 and size 7.
An adult man who wears size 6 is likely to be heavier and stockier than a tween or teen who wears size 6. The Youth boots are lighter, more flexible, and not as tall as the men's boots. The men's boots fit thicker calves, and the boy's boots fit skinnier calves. The youth boots are a better bargain for someone who might grow out of the boots in a year or two. The men's boots are a better investment to keep long-term.
