  G2 Aluminum Throttle Tube.

  Replace your stock plastic throttle tube with the G2 Aluminum Throttle Tube. Not only will you enjoy the ultra smooth throttle action of the Delrin bushings, you can also easily replace your motorcycle grips in the future.

  G2 Throttle Tubes are machined in the U.S.A. from 6061 aluminum. The "grip" area has an internal knurl pattern to provide an adhesion surface without increasing the grip area dimension (and a bulky grip feel). The tube is then polished for a superior finish before being anodized.

  Are Delrin bushings better than ball bearings?

  Standard ball bearing throttle tubes seem like a great idea. Once installed and you're twisting the throttle (with the bike on a stand and the engine off) it sure feels sweet! But give it a "real world test." While you're sitting on the bike, apply a bit of downward pressure on the grip as you turn. You will immediately feel the aluminum tube contact the handlebar.

  With the G2 Aluminum Throttle Tube for dirt bikes, the Delrin bushings prevent this completely! Push down all you want! In addition, ball bearings require constant maintenance (unlike the ball bearing solution called the Jimmy Twister), or the bearing will corrode and ultimately seize. Not so with the Delrin bushing equipped throttle tubes!

  In addition, all G2 throttle tubes include a Delrin Friction Plate, which looks like a thin, black washer. This is installed onto the handlebar before the throttle tube and inside of the throttle housing. This stops aluminum-on-aluminum contact for a smooth, precise feel even while pushing inward!

  Using handguards? No problem with the G2 Aluminum Throttle Tube! Just "pop" off the end cap for easy handguard installation! The knurled area provides solid grip adhesion. Just install a good quality grip (Domino Grips are highly recommended) and you're good to go!
