It works really well and it gives my bike a bigger bike sound. From a distance, my dad says it sounds like an Rm 465.
I've used this silencer on both a 2007 KTM 300XCW and a 2003 Honda CR250R, and a friend used it on a 2006 KTM 200XC. Excellent silencer, really mellow tone but still provides a healthy two stroke note when you rip on it, looks great, install was a breeze, and no durability issues to speak of. If you have to have a spark arrestor and noise is a concern, I can't recommend the FMF Q enough.
Works great, sounds great.
Very easy to install, fit perfect
so i bought this for my rm85 and i like it.. but ,, the thing i do not like is that when i put it on my 2003rm85 it is hit by the wheel when i land off a jump almost needing a thick washer to keep it away.. and another thing is that i might just be used to it now but it does not seem to cut down on noise very much

Question:Q: Power CharacteristicsQuestion asked 1 year 9 months agoWhat will this silencer do to the power on my 2017 Beta Xtrainer?
-
Question answered by DaveGearheadUser's contributor status: Top 1Question answered 1 year 9 months agoAnswer: A: On a 2-stroke bike the power characteristics are formed in the header, not the muffler. This muffler was developed for offroad use. It also features a spark arrestor. This will keep the risk down while riding in the forests or deserts.
