Works well, sounds great

Slip on, but the factory clamp does NOT work. I used a hose clamp and it worked. Good sound, and added power.

Easy installation nothing to modify

I put the pipe on my 2018 WR250R about a month ago, really easy to install, It bolted right up , the bike has more power than it had with stock pipe , Well worth the investment

Great slip on!

I put this on my 2000 xr650l in June 2018. 6 months and 3000 miles later I am very pleased with this unit! I left the stock header pipe and added the Q4. The difference in the sound compared to the stock muffler is big! I love the way my xr
literally barks now! Not as quiet as advertised. Doesn't bother me.
I did bash it on a rock one day when I crashed on some single track trails. It's pretty tough so I can attest it's pretty sturdy. Just a scratch.
Buy it for your xr!!

Looks great!

The price was a bit crazy in my opinion $350 but other than that I have put around 500 miles on the fmf q4 so far on my 1998 klr 650 and I love the look of it, the sound is just right and it feels like the bike has a bit more power too! I'm glad I got the fmf q4 muffler.

Pipe fit great with no issues. Sounds great. Louder Han stock but not too loud. Also install the FMF joe-jet kit so not running lean

Great exhaust!

Good directions, easy install on Suzuki DRZ400S. Sound and noise level is good with spark arrester installed. Also installed K&N air filter and stage 2 jet kit. Good power increase in mid and high rpm.

A: FMF HEX Q4 Quiet Core Spark Arrestor Insert (part number 040671) is a replacement that will most likely help you out the most. That should really quiet up the motorcycle, and make the angry brick throwing neighbors chill out!

A: You will need to contact your local mechanic since jetting is based off of location and what the bike is lacking. Here is a jet kit we do offer for your machine https://www.motosport.com/moose-dynojet-jet-kits

A: The Q4 is a quiet exhaust with a Max Sound output 96 dB, most models below 93 dB. I am not aware of a quieter exhaust on the market today.

Will this pipe slip on my stock crf230f? And will I have to rejet it with the all stock?

A: Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct muffler for your bike. Normally when installing a slip-on only minor jetting changes are needed, if any at all. If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.
