I bought it for my 03 RM 250 and it made it really quiet which I wanted but the mounting points didn’t line up exactly and it didn’t fit the pipe like it should have overall good performance but horrible fitment.

Great all around muffler, works perfect with Fatty pipe.
Allows me to ride everywhere, it takes a little off the top, but gives better power delivery through bottom and mid. Sounds Awesome, looks great and yes it will drip oil after a good ride due to exhaust cooling, but its perceftly normal.
I needed a spark arrestor for my KX250, so I go this one. I am using it with the stock pipe. It works great, but you will need to lean out your carb some as it is not as free flowing as the stock muffler. Overall, pretty nice stuff.
This does not fit a YZ250 (2010), and FMF did nothing to help. Terrible customer service on their end. I didn't have time to send it back to Motosport (was riding where I needed a spark arrestor later that week), but I'm sure they would have take in back. I know it was the spark arrestor that was the issue as I already have a FMF pipe and silencer (non-sparky) and they fit fine. So do the stock parts. Long story short, I had to cut the pipe portion off, remove 1/4", and TIG weld it back on to get it to fit correctly. FMF never even apologized for my issue, only gave me a hard time about voiding the warranty... I won't be buying FMF products again. Go with Pro Circuit if you're looking for a spark arrestor.
I purchased this silencer for my 2002 YZ250. I loved FMF's dedication to 2 strokes and the idea behind making bikes as quiet as possible and that is exactly why I bought this silencer.
I am extremely disappointed with this silencer and FMF for that matter. For starters, it didn't even fit on my bike! I tried it on my friend's YZ250 also (in case my subframe or pipe was tweaked) and it was the same story. The silencer didn't even come close to lining up. So I was forced to start hacking on my brand new $$$ silencer which made me very unhappy. After taking off about 1/2" off the pipe and bending it upward, I finally got the silencer to bolt on.
I was anxious to start my bike up once I got the silencer on to see how quiet it was (this muffler is HUGE!). Noise is a major issue at the riding areas I frequent and I wanted to be a part of the solution by cutting the noise on my bike. Right away, I could tell that this muffler was no quieter than my worn out, oil soaked, PC silencer I just removed. Even after running it for awhile to break it in, there is really no noise reduction whatsoever from my old silencer. This was really disappointing because this muffler is about 3 times the size of the PC muffler on my bike before. Judging by size, this thing should be whisper quiet, but it is not even close.
The only thing this silencer has going for it is that it looks awesome on the bike. But looks alone would not push me to recommend this silencer or to purchase again if I had the chance.
For the money I paid for this, I don't want to have to hack away at a silencer to make it fit and then have it be just as loud as a smaller non-Q silencer. FMF needs to step up their game here.
I bought this product for my 2004 kawaski kx 250 and it does wonders to my power in all areas. I will never get tired of this pipe! It is absolutely amazing. No questions about it.
Good silencer, felt like it robbed a little from my top end, but gave it back on the bottom end. 2006 YZ 250, overall I am happy with the can and still has great sound!
LOOK AND SOUND IS A MUSIC TO YOUR EARS. THE EXHAUST IS ALOT BIGGER BUT IT JUST LOOKS SO AWSOME, ONLY REASON I AM NOT GIVING 5 STAR IS BECAUSE THE SOUND IS ALMOST SAME AS THE OTHER EXHAUST. BUT THE LOOK MAKES UP FOR EVERYTHING ELSE IT LACKS.
I got this silencer for my cr250 and it did not rob any power and was really quiet it kinda felt like it added a bit to my bottom and mid and great thing about it is the neighbors get off your back!!! :)
