The packing when you cut it gets this fiberglass fibers everywhere and it’s stringy and too thick to wrap around the core.. Did the job with a lot of effort though. Wouldn’t recommend makes a huge mess

Was perfect for the snappy throttle response needed for out the gate power.
The packing was good and wasn’t too bad to put in but made quite a mess even with being cut on the seem. Also one of them came split open.
High quality! No issues.
Great packing. Make sure you double check that you have masking tape and silicone available before dismantling the night before a race. Also, throw away leftover immediately....apparently dogs think the leftover is fun to play with and makes one heck of a mess in the garage . Think small, white, fluffy pieces you can't possibly pick all of it up.
Motor definitely a little snappier off bottom after repack.
Much better than the regular packing
This product really did not work for me. Hard to pack silencer and if you have to trim it down, forget about it. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
good quality. real fast shipping from motosport.
Great turn around, arrived before expected. Easy to install.

Question:Q: Will this help me do better wheeliesQuestion asked 2 years 12 months ago
Question answered by patheticoneUser's contributor status:Question answered 2 years 12 months agoAnswer: A: Fresh packing in a silencer ( properly installed ) will make the engine perform better, however, riding wheelies is a skill acquired by experience and perfected by practice - your skill will determine how good of a wheelie you can do, not the silencer packing....

Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: Yes the FMF Premier Muffler Packing will work great in your 1987 Kawasaki kdx80.
Question answered by patheticoneUser's contributor status:Question answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: Your KDX 80 , being a 2 Stroke technically doesn't have " muffler " , it's called a silencer, and from what I can see , your stock exhaust is black, and cannot be taken apart - it does appear that you have a baffle / spark arrester which can be pulled out from the end of the silencer with the removal of a retaining screw, cleaned and reinstalled.
